Shelley is a 2009 graduate from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ where she received a B.A. in Public Relations. Her favorite class was The Social Impact of Rock and Roll. She volunteers as the Digital Engagement Officer for GIRLS WHO ROCK (@girlswhorockny) an annual concert in NYC that aims to bring together the strongest voices in technology, entertainment, and design to advocate and fundraise for girls’ education worldwide. 100% of the proceeds from the event go towards furthering the mission of the non-profit She's the First.
